The fastest way to select a product is to enter your product's software code in the Quick Search box. You can also search by product description, click on the column headings to sort by size, product description, colour or layout. Start a New Project
On the Choose Design tab, you will find the blank and pre-designed templates available for your chosen Avery label product. You can narrow your choice by selecting a design category from the list on the left. Read our step by step guide below to find out how to get started with this creative online software. Once you’ve opened the template for the label you’re using in Avery Design and Print, choose a GHS design in the “Choose Design” tab. When you select any GHS label template design, the GHS Wizard® tool will automatically pop up. Quickly save your Avery projects online for easy editing, reordering & sharing from any place at any time.
Step 4: Apply the design to labels
Avery believe the best way to print on our products is to use Avery Design&Print Online, as this is always the most up-to-date version of our software. To change your text, click the text box to enter your text To add a new text box, click the New Text button from the Text menu on the left. Finding your Avery Template
Projects will save as a .avery file and can only be opened using Design&Print Online or our Desktop app. Select Avery Account to save the project within Design&Print. Projects saved in Avery Accounts can be accessed from any computer with internet access. You can save your project at any time using the Save button at the top of the Customise and Preview & Print screens. Click on the design you’d like to customise and a green Select this design button will appear.

Step 2: Choose your template
To get the most out of your Avery products we recommend using our Design & Print Software. It’s a free and easy way to design, edit and print Avery labels, cards and more. This is where you can choose to add text, images or other objects to your design.When you select a tool an additional set of options will appear. There will be different options, depending if you select Text, Image or Shape.

Auto-fills your chemical label with GHS –compliant statements and pictograms.
This tool bar is also where you can perform more complex actions such as create a mail merge, generate barcodes or add sequential numbers. Create unique barcodes to add to product packaging labels or add sequential numbering to raffle tickets & price tags. Blank Avery templates are the templates that correspond to specific Avery Industrial products and sizes.
Avery Design and Print allows you to create and customize with graphics/images from our gallery, fonts, shapes, a barcode generator, autofill for GHS label templates and more. You can easily apply the same design to another product by clicking Apply Design to Another Product from the print page. Then enter the Avery product you want to customize to start your next project. For example, Avery templates with compliant OSHA and ANSI headers that leave space for you to add your own safety message. When your design is ready to go, just click Print to start printing yourself, or click Let Us Print for You to order professionally printed labels from Avery WePrint. The designs can be applied to a variety of label shapes and sizes, as well as to cards, invitations, tags, tickets and more. Quickly find a template for any Avery Industrial product by going to Avery templates and searching using the product SKU (found at the top of the label sheet). You can also find the right template for any project by browsing product categories such as safety signs & labels or asset tags.
Select the design template you want to personalize and use for your labels. Open Avery Design & Print and enter your product number if you have a packaged product or choose the product type you’d like to start designing. You can manually enter label information using your Safety Data Sheet (SDS), or enter the CAS number for the chemical. If the chemical is in our database, GHS Wizard will autofill the chemical name, signal word, hazard codes, pictograms and precautionary statements into the GHS label template for you.
Just choose a template, customize your product and then print it yourself or let us print it for you with Avery WePrint. From there, use the “Quick Search” bar to find a new product using a template number or description, then move or resize design elements if necessary. You can then proceed to preview and print steps, or save the project for later use.
